    Twill is a method of fabric manufacturing, resulting in a fuller surface of the fabric. Twill sets have a higher density than plain weave fabrics, consume more yarn, and have good wear resistance. They are mainly stronger than plain weave fabrics, with better shrinkage control and less shrinkage.
